We try and keep reclaimed pine boards in stock but this
is not always possible and so we re-mill Victorian joists
and make floorboards this way.

Pine - Reclaimed
Original Victorian Boards
Available in several widths, these square edge boards have been removed
from recently demolished terrace houses and Victorian villas. We de-nail
them, cut off damaged and split ends and sell them in random lengths.
Once laid and sanded, then polished these boards have a depth of
original colour you just cannot get with new flooring. Plenty of knots
and nail holes plus stilletto heel marks add to their patina and character.
In stock now - 5.5" wide £37.50 per sq. yd. (£45 per sq m)
Delivery nationwide can be arranged.
8" Georgian and wider boards are sometimes availabale, priced between
£45.00 and £65.00 square yard. Please ask. |

Pine - Resawn Boards
Take an old joist out of the Longbridge car factory, remove any nails or bolts and
slice on the re-saw into 1" thick boards. Skim one surface through the planer and
you end up with new floorboards finished at 3/4" ( 20mm ) thick which are dry and stable and full of colour and character. Widths normally 8" - 9".
