Throughout thefollowing, the term Cox’s Yard refers to all companies operatingfrom Cox’s
ArchitecturalDoors, 14/15 Fosseway Business Park, Moreton in Marsh, GL56 9NQ
Retention of Title: Goods supplied by Cox’s Yard remain the property ofCox’s Yard until payment has been received in full.
Returns: Many of the goods we sell and supply are reclaimed or salvaged and assuch are individual items.
It is importantthat you satisfy yourself that the condition, quality and function ofthe goods is suitable for the purpose and use required. If you arenot sure then you must advise Cox’s Yard of this at the time ofpurchase. You will then have 14 days during which time you may returnthe goods for a full refund. After that, any returns will be at Cox’sYards discretion and should Cox’s Yard accept the returns then arestocking charge of 20% will be deducted from the refund which willbe the invoice price of the goods excluding any carriage costs.Refunds will be in the form of a credit note which must be usedwithin 6 months of issue date.
Items will only beconsidered for return if in the same condition, quality and quantityas first delivered.
Items will not beconsidered for return if they have been installed, used or altered inany way, shape or form.
The cost ofreturning items is for the client's account.
In the case of newgoods, full refund, excluding carriage costs, will be given subjectto the goods being returned in unused and sound condition within 7days. (14 days for online purchases)
No returns will beaccepted after 7 days. (14 days for online purchases)
New goods whichprove to be faulty in manufacture will be replaced subject to suchgoods being returned in the same condition as delivered.
The costs ofreturning goods will be at the buyer's expense.

Receipt and Inspection: Goods despatched by Cox’s Yard using a carrier,courier, post office or any other means must be inspected for damageimmediately on receipt and any damage or shortage should be notifiedimmediately to Cox’s Yard office by phone, confirmed by letter oremail.
Cox’s Yard orits carriers cannot accept responsibility for damage reported at alater date.
Carrier's deliverynotes should be marked if damage to the packaging is obvious or ifthere is a short delivery in the number of packages. A copy of thatnote should be sent to Cox’s Yard immediately.
VAT: Allgoods supplied within the United Kingdom will be subject to VAT atthe current rate.
Any goods suppliedto EU member countries will be invoiced without VAT as long as thebuyer is registered for VAT in the country of destination with acurrent VAT registered no. .Otherwise VAT will be added at thecurrent rate. Any goods supplied to non EU countries will be free ofVAT subject to the buyer supplying a certificate of shipment to Cox’sYard within 90 days of export or free of VAT if Cox’s Yardundertakes the shipment on the buyers behalf.
Dimensions: All dimensions, areas, volumes or weights given are approximate.Dimensions used will be imperial or metric at Cox’s Yardsdiscretion.
Currencies: Prices quoted are in Sterling. Other currencies can be quoted andwill be invoiced at the exchange rate ruling at the time ofinvoicing.
Provenance: Wherever possible Cox’s Yard will provide information regardingthe age and history of reclaimed items but can give no guarantee asto the accuracy of this information and no reliance should be placedon this information.
Consequential Loss: Cox’s Yard accepts no responsibility for anyconsequential loss or subsequent costs howsoever arising from the useof new or reclaimed materials supplied by Cox’s Yard.
Recommendations: When asked Cox’s Yard may be able to refer clients tosuitable tradesmen but Cox’s Yard cannot be held responsible forany arrangements that the client subsequently makes or for thequality of work of the referred tradesman.
Times: All timings, schedules and delivery dates quoted or estimated areapproximate.
Reserving Goods: Items may be reserved for 7 days without any obligation topurchase. After 7 days the goods will be put back on sale unlessCox’s Yard has received confirmation and a deposit from the buyer.
Deposits: A 20% non refundable deposit is required as a down payment on anyitems being made, repaired, altered or restored to the order of acustomer. The balance of the payment in full is due on completion.
Storage: Once paid for, goods can be stored free of charge for a period of 4weeks. Thereafter a storage charge will be made of £13 per week perpallet ( or part of a week ) based on the floor area of a europallet.Minimum charge of 1 pallet.
Charges accruedmust be paid before the goods can be released.
Payment for goodsmust be made in full including vat before collection or on delivery.Payment can be made by cheque, subject to clearance, credit and debitcards, cash and by bank transfer.
Cheques or cardpayments under £10 are subject to a £1 surcharge.
Delivery will becharged extra and is subject to quotation.
Delivery is to theoutside of buyer's premises only and does not include carrying intobuildings or up stairs. In the case of heavy items it is the buyer'sresponsibility and cost to provide adequate unloading facilities.
