Sold Arts and Crafts Panelling.
Two lengths of oak panels dating from 1904. Each section of panel
capped with Gothic arches with Art Nouveau detailing. The whole length
of the panels topped with two friezes of "Arts and Crafts" carvings.
The first frieze having an owl, a fox, a bat, a cockerel and a rabbit
entwined in a thorny bramble with a hawk? at either end. The top frieze
is intricately carved ivy leaves and berries, typical of this period.
Provenance: The Parsonage, St Michael's Church, Blacklake.
